When The Venetian Resort, Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas asked David Overton, founder and CEO of the Cheesecake Factory Restaurants, to create an upscale casual restaurant concept for their property, he headed for Europe.

Overton studied Italian trattorias, Fresh bistros and the grand cafes and pastry shops of Vienna. He then captured his experience in creating the "Grand Lux Café." With locations in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Scottsdale, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, New York, New Jersey and Florida, Grand Lux Café offers guests a unique, casual global cuisine in an elegant, yet relaxed, atmosphere.
